And have a Happy New Year!
I hate having them done. Why? Because by the time we finish we all get crazy.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
‘Joe the Plumber’ told conservative radio host Glenn Beck Tuesday that he felt “dirty” after hitting the campaign trail with presidential candidate John McCain and “seeing some of the things that take place,” Politico reported.
Joe Wurzelbacher said he was specifically put off by McCain when it came to talk of the $700 billion bailout.
Why? This could be good or bad depending on what was said.
“When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen,” Wurzelbacher told Beck. “I asked him some pretty direct questions. Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”
Wurzelbacher said he stayed on the trail with McCain “honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more.”
Perhaps it was because McCain is more honest?
Wurzelbacher, however, offered kind words regarding McCain running mate Gov. Sarah Palin.
“Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.
Exactly! Maybe we should have a Palin/Wurzelbacher ticket? It’d be nice to get some real people into office!
Say it again and again. At least until you are elected President. Then what do you do?
You celebrate by buying your wife a £20,000 diamond encrusted Rhodium ring. Yup. No better way to show you are an average Joe and in touch with the poor people suffering in this country than to blow 20,000 pounds on a ring. Obama couldn’t be doing that, right? Only an elitist would do something like that, right?
“‘For obvious privacy reasons I cannot reveal the cost of the ring but bearing in mind it is made from rhodium or black gold and encrusted with diamonds you can be sure it will cost thousands of pounds.'”
Emphasis mine. Does anyone else see a pattern here?
Obama. A man of the people? Or a man of the people’s money?
One of the ‘benefits’ of cold weather in Alaska is when the the lights ‘polarize’ or have the ‘halo phenomenon’. The ice crystals in the air create a sort of light saber. It’s neat when it’s just a few white lights, but when you get lots of lights of various colors, then it’s absolutely beautiful! The best place I’ve found to see this is at the airport. All those blue, red and green lights that are evenly spaced apart can create an amazing effect.
Keep in mind that this was taken with a digital camera in regular light mode. The higher iso ratings make it quite grainy. These are best taken with a film camera with an extended shutter speed.
Yes, another one! But this time I feel extremely confident that I’ll be correct. I’d even bet money on it!
Time Magazine’s Man of the Year is…..
Either that or him and his family.
And remember, you saw it here first!!!
