Not Exactly

September 30, 2008

From an email, so I can’t vouch the truthfulness of it. Do your own research.

Interesting reading regardless of party affiliation OBAMA’S ‘NOT

1.)     Selma Got Me Born – NOT EXACTLY, your
parents felt safe enough to have you in 1961 – Selma had no effect on
your birth, as Selma was in 1965.
(Google ‘Obama Selma’ for his full March 4, 2007 speech and articles
about its various untruths.)

2.)     Father Was A Goat Herder – NOT EXACTLY,
he was a privileged, well educated youth, who went on to work with the
Kenyan Government.

3.)     Father Was A Proud Freedom Fighter – NOT
EXACTLY, he was part of one of the most corrupt and Violent governments
Kenya has ever had.

4.)     My Family Has Strong Ties To African
Freedom> – NOT EXACTLY; your cousin Raila Odinga
has created mass violence in attempting to overturn a legitimate
election in 2007, in Kenya. It is the first widespread violence in
decades. The current government is pro-American but Odinga wants to
overthrow it and establish Muslim Sharia law. Your half-brother, Abongo
Obama, is Odinga’s follower.
You interrupted your New Hampshire campaigning to speak to Odinga on the
phone. Obama’s cousin Odinga in Kenya ran for president and tried to get
Sharia Muslim law in place there. When Odinga lost the elections, his
followers have burned Christians’ homes and then burned men, women and
children alive in a Christian church where they took shelter.. Obama
SUPPORTED his cousin before the election process here started.
Google Obama and Odinga and see what you get.
No one wants to know the truth.

5.) My Grandmother Has Always Been A Christian – NOT EXACTLY, she does
her daily Salat prayers at 5am according to her own interviews. Not to
mention, Christianity wouldn’t allow her to have been one of 14 wives to
1 man.

6.) My Name is African Swahili – NOT EXACTLY, your name is Arabic and
‘Baraka’ (from which Barack came means ‘blessed’
in that language. Hussein is also Arabic and so is Obama.
Barack Hussein Obama is not half black. If elected, he would be the
first Arab-American President, not the first black President. Barack
Hussein Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother’s side and 43.75% Arabic
and 6.25% African Negro from his father’s side. While Barack Hussein
Obama’s father was from Kenya, his father’s family was mainly Arabs..
Barack Hussein Obama’s father was only 12.5% African Negro and 87.5%
Arab (his father’s birth certificate even states he’s Arab, not African

From….and for more….go to…..

‘quite religious in Islam”

8.) My School In Indonesia was Christian – NOT EXACTLY, you were
registered as Muslim there and got in trouble in Koranic Studies for
making faces (check your own book).
February 28, 2008. Kristoff from the New York Times a year ago: Mr.
Obama recalled the opening lines of the Arabic call to prayer, reciting
them with a first-rate accent. In a remark that seemed delightfully
uncalculated (it’ll give Alabama voters heart attacks); Mr. Obama
described the call to prayer as ‘one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at
This is just one example of what Pamela is talking about when she says
‘Obama’s narrative is being altered, enhanced and manipulated to
whitewash troubling facts.’

9.) I Was Fluent In Indonesian – NOT EXACTLY, not one teacher says you
could speak the language.

10.) Because I Lived In Indonesia, I Have More Foreign Experience – NOT
EXACTLY, you were there from the ages of 6 to 10, and couldn’t even
speak the language. What did you learn, how to study the Koran and watch

(surprise) and the Middle East (bigger> surprise); you have never been
anywhere else on the planet and thus have NO experience with our closest

has yet to find the article you mention in your book.> It doesn’t, and
never did, exist.

Life has yet to find the article you mention in your book. It doesn’t,
and never did, exist.

15.) I Won’t Run On A National Ticket In ’08 – NOT EXACTLY, here you
are, despite saying, live on TV, that you would not have enough
experience by then, and you are all about having experience first.

28.) No One on my campaign contacted Canada about NAFTA -NOT EXACTLY,
the Canadian Government issued the names and a memo of the conversation

Gov. Blunt Statement on Obama Campaign’s Abusive Use of Missouri Law Enforcement

JEFFERSON CITY – Gov. Matt Blunt today issued the following statement on news reports that have exposed plans by U.S. Senator Barack Obama to use Missouri law enforcement to threaten and intimidate his critics.

“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouri campaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.

“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.

“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.

“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts – not a free society.”

Obama campaign cracks down on misleading TV ads

The Barack Obama campaign is asking Missouri law enforcement to target anyone who lies or runs a misleading TV ad during the presidential campaign.

The ‘Truth Squad’ will be “reminding voters that Barrack Obama is a Christian who wants to cut taxes for people making less than $250,000 a year.”

Hmm, why remind anyone that Obama is a Christian? I smell a rat. Besides, where are those moonbats that complain about religion being pushed down their throats?

Vote for Obama and kiss your freedoms goodbye.

Do you trust them? Do you believe them? Lets look at some polls of the first Presidential debate this season:

CNN Poll

CNN Poll

Ok, CNN gives Obama the lead. Not surprising.

Fox News Poll

Fox News Poll

Fox News gives McCain the lead, but not as much. Are they more fair? Before you answer, they did have a texting/email poll and the results were 84% to McCain, 14% to Obama, and 1% undecided. A big discrepency between the two. Odd, no?

Drudge Report Poll

Drudge Report Poll

Drudge gives McCain the lead as well.

Who won? Two out of three say McCain.

Ok, I know, these aren’t scientific polls. But what about them? Lets look at this one:

Washington Post-ABC News Poll

Other    Neither   Would not       No
Obama   McCain   (vol.)    (vol.)   vote (vol.)   opinion
9/22/08     52        43            *         1          0            3

Other    Neither   Would not       No
Obama   McCain   (vol.)    (vol.)   vote (vol.)   opinion
9/22/08     52        42            1         1          *            4
As you can see, Obama is above by 9 or 10 percent.

Accurate? Fair? Let’s look at the sampling data:

The survey includes additional interviews with randomly selected African Americans, for a total of 163 black respondents.

This is called oversampling. Since about 90% of blacks support Obama, this will give him an edge. Fair? Doesn’t look like it!

Now let’s look at the data on the people being polled:

901. Generally speaking, do you usually think of yourself as:

Democrat Republican Independent Other No op.
9/22/08 RV 38 28 29 5 1

904. (IF NOT DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN) Do you lean more towards the:

Democratic Party Republican Party (VOL) Neither No op.
9/22/08 RV 46 28 24 2

Hmm, a 9/10% lead for votes and the party affiliation is 10/18% higher for Democrats. In my opinion there are also a lot of Independents too. From what I’ve read, they tend to vote Democrat too.

Is anyone surprised that Obama got a higher rating now? Before you believe the polls, it may be wise to read the fine print! It’d also be nice if they’d make sure the political makeup matches the population.

Round 1 in debates goes to Obama, poll says

A national poll of people who watched the first presidential debate suggests that Barack Obama came out on top, but there was overwhelming agreement that both Obama and John McCain would be able to handle the job of president if elected.

The CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey is not a measurement of the views of all Americans, since only people who watched the debate were questioned and the audience included more Democrats than Republicans.

Emphasis mine. They used more Dems than Reps! Shocking!! No bias in the media here!

Fifty-one percent of those polled thought Obama did the better job in Friday night’s debate, while 38 percent said John McCain did better.

“It can be reasonably concluded, especially after accounting for the slight Democratic bias in the survey, that we witnessed a tie in Mississippi tonight,” CNN Senior Political Researcher Alan Silverleib said. “But given the direction of the campaign over the last couple of weeks, a tie translates to a win for Obama.”

Even after they consider the effects of the bias and state it as a ‘tie’, they still find some way to show that a ‘tie’ is a win for Obama. No bias here!

The results may be favoring Obama simply because more Democrats than Republicans tuned in to the debate. Of the debate-watchers questioned in this poll, 41 percent of the respondents identified themselves as Democrats, 27 percent as Republicans and 30 percent as independents.

Can you believe that? There are more Independents than Republicans in the polling! And 14% more Democrats than Republicans! And they call this a ‘slight Democratic bias’!!! And people actually have the nerve to call Fox News ‘Faux News’! At this point it looks like CNN deserves that title instead!!!

Scaring the Voters

September 25, 2008

It’s something the left appears to be quite adept at!

Democratic Congressman Warns Jews, Blacks to Beware of Palin

Florida Rep. Alcee Hastings on Wednesday warned two minority groups to beware of Sarah Palin because “anybody toting guns and stripping moose don’t care too much about what they do with Jews and blacks.”

Right. Putting food on your plate is a bad thing. Many people up here PREFER moose meat because of the taste and lower fat content! I met someone who cooked up some beef and her kids complained “What is that horrible smell?” Don’t knock it until you try it!!

Hastings, who is black and a Democrat, made the comment in Florida at a panel discussion hosted by the National Jewish Democratic Council.

Hastings was explaining what he intended to tell his Jewish constituents about the presidential race.

“If Sarah Palin isn’t enough of a reason for you to get over whatever your problem is with Barack Obama, then you damn well had better pay attention,” Hastings told the audience, which burst into laughter and applause, according to individuals present.

“whatever your problem is with Barack Obama” Oh please, elaborate on this one!!

Palin spokeswoman Maria Comella declined to comment. The Republican Jewish Coalition strongly condemned Hastings’ statements.

“Rep. Hastings stooped to the worst kind of divisive politics yesterday,” RJC Executive Director Matt Brooks said in a written statement. “Hastings’ unconscionable remarks do nothing but sow seeds of fear and divide people. There should be no place in our country for this sort of political discourse. We can constructively disagree on the issues without denigrating others.”

Remember Obama and his comments about the right and that they’ll scare you with his name and such? What’s this then? Same thing. The left has to scare you to vote for them! Oh wait, and they have to bribe you with handouts too.

Other members of the panel were Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen, who is Jewish and represents a mostly black district; Alabama congressman Artur Davis, who is black; and Peter Edelman, a law professor at Georgetown University who was a legislative assistant to Robert Kennedy.

Davis denounced Hastings’ comments.

“Alcee Hastings is a friend and I know Alcee well enough to know that he uses provocative humor to make a point. In this instance, however, I didn’t like his comments when I heard them and they don’t sound any better reading them in print,” he said in a written statement sent to

That’s the weakest denouncement I’ve ever heard.

“I have repeatedly said that while Sarah Palin’s ideology and her thin resume are legitimate issues, it is a great mistake for Democrats to ridicule her cultural roots,” Davis added. “I don’t know how many Americans strip moose, but a lot of the ones I know tote guns and the Democratic Party had better win enough of those gun toters if we are to be successful.”

Yes, don’t forget to pander to the gun toters too!

Hastings, a former federal judge, was impeached and removed from the bench in 1989 for perjury and corruption. Elected to Congress in 1992, he supported Hillary Clinton during the primaries until she conceded the race.

And we should listen to him? Obviously he has problems with morality and law. Just another corrupt person supporting Obama. Can’t they find someone without a record to support him???

WinXP News

September 25, 2008

I have an email subscription to WinXP News. They have some good articles, helpful hints and some cool links. They had a subject that I can really identify with:

Unethical software practices

Last week’s editorial addressed something that many of us have encountered at one time or another: business practices by software companies that just don’t seem quite right. Apparently it resonated with many of you, as we got a huge number of responses on the topic.

The automatic renewal problem is pretty common. William B. wrote: “I finally abandoned One Care from Microsoft, but neglected to ‘cancel’. My daughter-in- law reminded me that if I did NOT cancel, it would be renewed. They would not even talk to me until I verified the credit card number (to cancel, yet!).”

Jim B. recounted this experience: “One DVD copying application I was running popped a window to say that an upgrade was available to download. (Much like Windows) I went through the process of downloading, removing the old version, installing the new version before it popped another window announcing that there was an upgrade license fee to be paid – and ,of course, the software would not run without the new license key! Naturally, the fee did not get paid!”

Carol J. had a slight different problem with a popular software company: “Several years ago I purchased an electronic version of Print Shop Deluxe. I also paid extra for program CDs. After reformatting a hard drive in an older laptop, I attempted to install the program from the CDs. The message I received stated the version I’d purchased was no longer supported, and thus could not be installed or activated. There wasn’t even an upgrade offer available!”

Wayne S. offers this: “you can’t really blame them for not trusting us either. I recently bought a new hard drive for my laptop and will need to reload everything. I noticed that my Norton Systemworks disc is missing, but I have the keycode and receipt. Trying to get a definitive answer from Symantec about downloading the 2008 Premier software from my keycode was like a sitcom episode. I ask a question, and they ask me a different question without ever answering my first Q. This goes back and forth until I say [thanks] and run away from the phone. A case of downward spiraling mistrust!”

Rich T. tells us about his company’s experience: “Years back, my research unit purchased zApp from Rogue Wave Software. After convincing our programmer that we needed to buy the support and upgrades for $4K+, they announced a few months later they were no longer supporting the software, no refunds. Of course, this was enough time that we were well entrenched with some key programs that it was too late to turn back.”

Nancy C. put forth this opinion: “By far, the ‘most unethical software shenanigans award’ goes to QuickBooks. I purchased QB2005 when I opened my business and was very happy with the product…especially the feature that allowed me to email invoices, estimates, statements and other docs to my customers. Rather suddenly in 2007 I received a warning to upgrade to QB2008 before the email feature no longer worked…and, sure enough, they disabled a feature that I had bought and paid for…and which my customers relied on.”

Many years ago I purchased some software online and it worked great. But when I purchased a new computer and tried to install the product (after removing it from the old puter) and it said ‘Too many installs’. WTF? I bought it and I should be able to install it! I’m only using it on one computer like the agreement states!

I also hate those programs, including Windows, that call home to mommy. What data are they sending? Every music file I play? Every video I watch? What cd’s am I burning? That’s why I like my Zonealarm- I can just shut them off. Except Windows. Grrr!

Software spots the spin in political speeches

Skillicorn has been watching out for verbal “spin”. He has developed an algorithm that evaluates word usage within the text of a conversation or speech to determine when a person “presents themselves or their content in a way that does not necessarily reflect what they know to be true”.

When he analysed the speeches of John McCain, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, he found that even though the speeches were rehearsed, written by professionals and delivered by trained speakers, there were discernable differences between them. “It’s clear that the speeches are still highly individualised,” says Skillicorn. “This makes sense as the speeches have to, in some manner, reflect the speaker’s own voice and opinions. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be able to deliver them convincingly.”

So much for the liberal complaint that Palin’s speech was written for her and summarily dismissed.

In general though, Obama’s speeches contain considerably higher spin than either McCain or Clinton. For example, for their speeches accepting their party’s nomination for president, Obama’s speech scored a spin value of 6.7 – where 0 is the average level of spin within all the political speeches analysed, and positive values represent higher spin. In contrast, McCain’s speech scored -7.58, while Hillary Clinton’s speech at the Democratic National Convention scored 0.15. Skillicorn also found that Sarah Palin’s speeches contain slightly more spin than average.

Obama’s spin level skyrockets when facing problems in the press, such as when Jeremiah Wright, the reverend of his former church, made controversial comments to the press.

“When you see these crises come along, the spin goes up,” Skillicorn says. “Obama is very good at using stirring rhetoric to deal with the issues. And it seems to work if you look at what happens in the polls afterwards.”

Obama- Spin that you can believe in!

Columnist Heather Mallick-Labeling Palin backers white trash

The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation is reviewing complaints from both Americans and Canadians about a Web site columnist who recently described Sarah Palin’s supporters as “white trash,” compared the vice presidential candidate to a “porn actress” and called her daughter’s boyfriend a “redneck” and “ratboy.”

So much for the left being ‘tolerant’, eh?

“We love our own north to the point of covering our eyes and humming as it melts … but Alaska is different from our north,” she wrote. “We share a 1,500-mile border with a frontier state full of drunks and crazy people, of the blight that cheap-built structures bring to a glorious landscape.

“Alaska is our redneck cousin, our Yukon territory forms a blessed buffer zone, and thank God he never visits. Alaska is the end of the line.”

I’ve driven up and down the Alcan Highway and the only thing that impressed me was Edmonton. Other than that it was nothing to brag about. I recall Edmonton being clean and a nice place to drive through. Nice mall too. Looks like the US isn’t the only country with moonbats seething with hatred.

Speaking of hate:

Hate. Sexism. You lefties do know how to stoop to new lows. You must be so proud.

Obama Laments Debt, But Promises Billions for Anti-Poverty Program

Barack Obama, who lamented Friday that “we have not managed our federal budget with any kind of discipline,” is nonetheless promising to spend $50 billion on a United Nations anti-poverty program that critics say will drive up American debt.

Yet Obama and his running mate, Joe Biden, have pledged tens of billions in new spending on a U.N. program that promises cash to poor countries. The program is one of eight sweeping “Millennium Development Goals” the U.N. adopted in 2000.

Johns Hopkins professor Steve Hanke said such spending would merely drive up American debt, while doing almost nothing for the world’s poor.

“It goes down a bureaucratic rat-hole, lining the pockets of people who are connected to the power structure,” said Hanke, a senior fellow at the Cato Institute. “It’s basically a system to redistribute income from middle class people in the United States to rich people in poor countries. It never reaches those people who are living on a dollar a day.”

“We’ve been spending like drunken sailors and making obligations into the future like drunken sailors,” he said. “We’re on an unsustainable path in terms of the fiscal situation in the United States because of massive spending growth and commitments.”

Oh, and that is the DEMOCRAT controlled congress with the record low approval ratings that is doing the spending. Aren’t you lefties proud!!!

Poll: Racial misgivings of whites an Obama issue

Deep-seated racial misgivings could cost Barack Obama the White House if the election is close, according to an AP-Yahoo News poll that found one-third of white Democrats harbor negative views toward blacks—many calling them “lazy,” “violent” or responsible for their own troubles.

So much for the hatred of blacks just being some sort of ‘neocon’ thingy.

The poll, conducted with Stanford University, suggests that the percentage of voters who may turn away from Obama because of his race could easily be larger than the final difference between the candidates in 2004—about 2.5 percentage points.

Wha? Is that the fat lady singing??

The findings suggest that Obama’s problem is close to home—among his fellow Democrats, particularly non-Hispanic white voters. Just seven in 10 people who call themselves Democrats support Obama, compared to the 85 percent of self-identified Republicans who back McCain.

The survey also focused on the racial attitudes of independent voters because they are likely to decide the election.

Lots of Republicans harbor prejudices, too, but the survey found they weren’t voting against Obama because of his race. Most Republicans wouldn’t vote for any Democrat for president—white, black or brown.

Right wingers are less racist than the lefties? Shocking!!!

Three in 10 of those Democrats who don’t trust Obama’s change-making credentials say they plan to vote for McCain.

It’s the smart ones.

Race is not the biggest factor driving Democrats and independents away from Obama. Doubts about his competency loom even larger, the poll indicates. More than a quarter of all Democrats expressed doubt that Obama can bring about the change they want, and they are likely to vote against him because of that.

Hmm. Why would that be? Maybe it’s this:

Joined at the Hip?

Barack Obama says John McCain represents a third Bush term and that he has voted with the president 90 percent of the time.

Voting with your party is bad?

But senior research scientist John Lott at the University of Maryland writes in The Philadelphia Inquirer “the 90 percent figure from Congressional Quarterly is nonsensical” and says most of those votes were just procedural. He adds, “Obama might want to be a little careful with these attacks, as the same measure has him voting with Democrats 97 percent of the time.

How can you call that ‘change’ when it’s 97% the same? HAHAHAHA!! Suckers!!! You lefties just fell for the oldest political line in the book! Hook, line and sinker!

He cites research from the right-leaning American Conservative Union, the liberal Americans for Democratic Action and the non-partisan National Journal. It indicates that from 2001 to 2007, McCain voted to the left of most Republican senators and to the right of most of his Democratic colleagues. Americans for Democratic Action even says McCain voted liberally 24 percent of the time — twice as much as the average Republican.

See, McCain is more mainstream than any of the other Republicans. You’d think that would have some appeal to the middle-of-the-road Democrats. Hopefully they’re smarter and will vote for McCain!

Report: Mischa Barton Suffers Wardrobe Malfunction

Actress Mischa Barton apparently suffered a wardrobe malfunction Wednesday night, flashing a breast while leaving a fashion show in London, photos reveal.

The star’s breast apparently slipped out of her red-and-gold satin evening gown as she jumped into a taxi after the Fashion For Relief show at the Natural History Museum in South Kensington, London, the Daily Mail reports.

Y’know, I don’t know her and don’t care about this so why am I posting this? It’s the next part in the article:

Click here to see photos (Warning: photos contain nudity.)

You’re kidding, right? Talking about a breast popping out and you post pictures of it with a warning that the photos contain nudity? Shocking! I would have never expected it!!

And why do these celebs seem so surprised when these things happen? Can’t they see how they dress? They do have things that can cover up their wiggly jigglies, hmm, can’t recall the names of those thingies… it’s on the tip of my tongue….
