It’s a good thing Obama is great at bringing people together!

April 28, 2008

Can you imagine how bad the crime rate would have been had he not been?

Bloody Weekend: At Least 21 Shot, 4 Dead

I’ve seen several reports about how bad the crime has been in Chicago lately. Obama has done well at bringing people together, eh?

Cop Car Shot up w/AK-47

That must be why the city is wanting to upgrade the weapons the cops carry?

M4

Ahh, now maybe the scum will think twice before shooting at the cops?

So, just exactly how is Obama going to bring the country together when his own city is rather busy at generating dead bodies? I say if he can’t do it at home then he can’t do it for the country.

Are you still falling for this man’s lies?

Who Controls Bush?

April 28, 2008

Lots of different answers.

Not that it matters much because he’s a lame duck.

But what does matter is Who Controls Obama?

Could it be….. This Guy?

The pastor also insisted Obama “didn’t denounce” him and “didn’t distance himself” from Wright’s controversial remarks, but “did what politicians do.”

Wright implied Obama still agrees with him by saying: “He had to distance himself, because he’s a politician, from what the media was saying I had said, which was [portrayed as] anti-American.”

“I said to Barack Obama last year, ‘If you get elected, November the 5th I’m coming after you, because you’ll be representing a government whose policies grind under people,’ Wright said.

But Wright objected to a question saying Obama had denounced him.

“Whoever wrote that question doesn’t read or watch the news,” Wright said. “He did not denounce me. He distanced himself from some of my remarks, like most of you, never having heard the sermon, all right? …

“He didn’t distance himself. He had to distance himself, because he’s a politician, from what the media was saying I had said, which was [portrayed as] anti-American. … He did, as I said, what politicians do.”

From the first part in bold text- Is he saying Obama lied? That he really didn’t denounce him or what he said? That it was nothing but meaningless words in a campaign? Lying to get votes?

For all of you who repeated the mantra of “Bush Lied, People Died” and still plan on voting for Obama… then this button is for you!

#1 Hypocrite

And for the second part in bold- This is exactly what I’ve been warning you about! It’s not so much as Obama being racist himself, but the racists that are helping him get into office and what they will be demanding once he gets in! If you can’t see that the Rev. (and the others) will be pushing Obama to pass laws that will favor or “pay back” blacks for what whitey has done then your either have a single digit IQ or deep, deep in denial.

So, who will be controlling Obama? Will you be happy with what THEY want?

Why are you still supporting this hypocrite?

Doesn’t Al Sharpton believe in Justice?

April 26, 2008

Sharpton vows to ‘close this city’ after officer acquittals

Hundreds of angry people marched through Harlem on Saturday after the Rev. Al Sharpton promised to “close this city down” to protest the acquittals of three police detectives in the 50-shot barrage that killed a groom on his wedding day and wounded two friends.

Justice was done. Get over it.

“We strategically know how to stop the city so people stand still and realize that you do not have the right to shoot down unarmed, innocent civilians,” Sharpton told an overflow crowd of several hundred people at his National Action Network office in the historically black Manhattan neighborhood. “This city is going to deal with the blood of Sean Bell.”

Closing the city will help? Sure, inconvenience everyone else and make the people lose millions of dollars in lost wages and income. What a nice guy you are.

Sharpton was joined by the family of 23-year-old Sean Bell – a black man – and a friend of Bell who was wounded in the 2006 shooting outside a Queens strip club. Two of the three officers charged were also black.

Good luck making this a race issue. Bet it breaks your heart that you can’t.

The rally at Sharpton’s office was followed by a 20-block march down Malcolm X Boulevard and then across 125th Street, Harlem’s main business thoroughfare, where some bystanders yelled out “Kill the police!”

Hmm, meeting at the NAN in a black neighborhood, marching down a street named after a black person, and yelling “Kill the Police!”. Hmm, why make this a ‘black’ thing? Justice is colorblind, right? And killing the police helps? If you feel someone was done wrong by the judicial system and calling for other innocent people to killed is justice then you don’t have any idea what justice is. This is what you’d expect down in Kenya but not in this country! (I picked Kenya because of the recent voting/rioting/killing problem they had.)

Fifty of the marchers carried white placards bearing big black numbers for each of the police bullets fired at Bell and his friends.

Would it be wrong to take up a collection to buy more bullets for the NYPD?

Sharpton didn’t say exactly how they would protest the acquittals of the officers who fired the 50 shots. He said Bell’s supporters could demonstrate all over the city, from Wall Street to the home of Justice Arthur Cooperman, who on Friday acquitted the three detectives after a nonjury trial.

Here’s what Al needs to do. Go through the same training regular police officers do and patrol the streets just like them. You’ll quickly find out just how much scum is out there and how little they care for your life. They don’t think at all about killing you.

Watch a few episodes of COPS and see all of the BS that police have to deal with. You’ll be amazed!

Obama: No more debates before next Primary

Barack Obama, in his first appearance on “FOX News Sunday,” says there will be no more debates before the two May 6 primaries despite repeated challenges from Hillary Clinton to meet him face-to-face.

Chicken.

Clinton challenged him again Saturday in Indiana, saying the two should meet for a one-on-one debate without moderators, Lincoln-Douglas-style.

That seems unlikely, given Obama’s response when posed the debate question by FOX News’ Chris Wallace.

The Illinois senator and Democratic front-runner spoke with Wallace Saturday in Marion, Ind., in an interview that will air Sunday, ending a 772-day silent treatment toward the talk show.

About time.

Asked why he was repeatedly “ducking” Clinton’s debate challenges before the Indiana and North Carolina primaries, Obama said, as he has before, that he just wants to spend time with voters.

And less time dodging questions.

“I’m not ducking. We’ve had 21 (debates), and so what we’ve said is, with two weeks, two big states, we want to make sure we’re talking to as many folks possible on the ground taking questions from voters,” he said, so no debates.

“We’re not going to have debates between now and Indiana,” he said.

Wallace said that if Obama had won Pennsylvania he may not have accepted the FOX News Sunday invitation. But he said that once Obama met him for the interview, the Illinois senator was “friendly” and discussed several moderate-to-Republican viewpoints, making an apparent effort to broaden his appeal.

Sounds like he’s desperate for votes. But can we really believe what he says? Read what his Pastor said about him:

Mr. Wright, who has acted as Mr. Obama’s spiritual mentor and retired in February as pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ in Chicago, said that he has never heard Mr. Obama repeat any of his controversial statements.

“Absolutely not,” Mr. Wright said. “I don’t talk to him about politics. And so he had a political event, he goes out as a politician and says what he has to say as a politician. I continue to be a pastor who speaks to the people of God about the things of God.”

Mr. Obama publicly denounced Mr. Wright’s remarks, a reaction Mr. Wright said “went down very simply.”

“He’s a politician, I’m a pastor,” he said. “We speak to two different audiences. And he says what he has to say as a politician. I say what I have to say as a pastor. But they’re two different worlds.”

He says what he has to say. In other words, he’ll lie like all the other politicians! He wants your vote and he’ll do just about anything to get them. Including repudiating anything that Rev. Wright said. Bush gets blasted for those he has associations with so it’s fair to blast Obama for his!

And what does Rev. Wright mean when he says “We speak to two different audiences.”? Aren’t both of them speaking to the American people? John and Jane Q. Public? Voters?

Or does he mean that Rev. Wright speaks to blacks while Obama speaks to the whites?

Winter makes a curtain call

The record-shattering spring storm that blanketed Anchorage on Friday created trouble all around town.

Events were canceled or postponed, including the Heart Run, the biggest footrace in the state.

The National Weather Service declared a heavy snow warning in effect until 8 a.m. today. People should travel only in an emergency, the Weather Service said. The storm was expected to subside by this morning. Some parts of town should get two feet by the time it ends.

Even before the evening rush hour, 16 wrecks were reported in Anchorage including the fatality and two others with injuries. By 9:40 p.m. the Anchorage Police Department recorded 53 vehicles in ditches, stuck or otherwise in distress and a total of 26 accidents.

The storm hit hard after a run of sunny and warm spring days. People were washing their cars. Crocuses and daffodils were popping up.

It all was buried under the biggest snow dump on April 25 ever noted in Anchorage.

The storm was huge.

“There was a pretty strong cold front that just pushed through this morning and kind of stalled over the Southcentral area,” meteorologist Tom Dang said early in the day. “It’s a storm system that literally covers the whole state of Alaska.”
