Supreme Court OKs Abortion Procedure Ban

The Supreme Court’s conservative majority handed anti-abortion forces a major victory Wednesday in a decision that bans a controversial abortion procedure and set the stage for further restrictions.

I’m not looking for further restrictions. I’m just happy that this horrible and senseless procedure is banned. You wanna get an abortion? Fine. Do it asap. Don’t wait till the last moment and then try to kill a child that could live if you delivered it.

That would be good, if it were true… but it’s not.

I’m supposed to believe a site called “Bitch PH.D.”? And it has a young child flipping me off at the top of the page too. This is supposed to make it more credible? And that wonderful racist/sexist comment:

This according to the Supreme Court, which today found that it’s constitutional for lawmakers (aka white men) to decide what kind of medical care we need.

Last I knew the Supreme Court was diverse. It ain’t just a bunch of white men anymore. And look at the usage of the word “need”. Abortion is a want, not a need. In the vast majority of cases anyways.

“it is highly unlikely that banning IDX will prevent a single abortion.”
Then that means there are other methods and those should be used. If this isn’t going to stop any abortions, then why the big fuss?

“The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists explicitly opposed the ban.”
It’s a money thing. Think about it.

Apparently, she’s a bitch with an attitude who also holds a doctorates. Take that for what you will, but she’s smart and credible.

    And that wonderful racist/sexist comment:

I’m not sure how her comment was sexist or racist: 8 out of 9 Supreme Court justices have a penis, and 8 out of 9 also happen to be white. Of those judges voting in favor off this decision, 5 out of 5 had a penis and 80% of them were whiter than my pale, hairy buttocks.

Then that means there are other methods and those should be used. If this isn’t going to stop any abortions, then why the big fuss?

It’s about women’s rights, more than anything else. But to turn your point around, let me agree with it: Yes, why the big fuss? Why have Republicans insisted, for years and years, that a little used abortion procedure be banned? Why have they insinuated that liberals condone the murder of babies using this little known procedure that’s only used when medically necessary?

You answer is due at 5; for every hour it’s late, one letter grade will be deducted off the final score.

I’ve seen lots of people (I almost said lefties but it happens both ways) insult people in high places and with degrees and it doesn’t seem to matter. If they do/say/act stupid then thats all that seems to count.

Yes, it still is racist/sexist. Hell, all you have to do is say ‘you people’ and that is considered racist. I read an article about someone calling some black girls ‘water buffalos’ and it was considered racist. Just saying white/black or refer to an object of that color and you’re guilty.

It’s not so much as how often it is used as much as that it is being used. It’s not often someone goes around a school killing en masse, but all it takes is once and it’s too much. And don’t say apples & oranges. I could’ve easily said something off the wall like ‘It’s not often your car engine freezes up, but all it takes is once and it’s too much.’, but it just didn’t have the same effect.

Sorry about the lateness. My puter went Tango Uniform and I’m in the process of restoring it. Such a pain. Bigger hard drives+more programs=more time setting up.

Glad to see you around. How ya been? How’s your anger management coming along? I suppose this long election season won’t help.

Anger management is coming along decently.. It’s mostly about moderating my diet and making sure I have enough sugar in the bloodstream, otherwise I’m prone to acting out. Not reading blogs as much as I used to helps, too. Now if I could only stop driving in RI.. Oh, wait,t hat’s happening soon, too. Heh.
